Schreibtisch ausmessen
Width, depth, height, chair clearance, and ergonomic eye-to-screen distance. Five quick measurements for a productive home office.
A desk that's 10 cm too deep crowds the room. 5 cm too tall ruins your wrists. Get it right the first time with five iPhone measurements.
Warum messen
- Fit the desk in the room with chair-pull-out clearance
- Ergonomic height for your body
- Monitor distance from eyes
- Cable management clearance behind
Was du brauchst
- iPhone with Ruler AR
- Length and Height modes
Schritt für Schritt
- Wall space. Tap the wall area where the desk will go (width × ceiling clearance if shelves above).
- Chair pull-out. From wall: desk depth + chair depth + 30 cm walk-around space. Total ~120-150 cm.
- Desk height. Ergonomic standard: 72-76 cm. If you're tall (190+ cm), prefer 76 or adjustable.
- Monitor distance. Eye-to-screen: 60-80 cm. Use Height mode to measure your eye level when seated; then ensure the desk is deep enough for that distance.
- Cable clearance behind. Need 5-10 cm gap behind for cables. Many desks go flush against wall, check yours.
Tipps
- Sit-stand desks add 20-30 cm of vertical travel, check ceiling clearance with shelves above
- L-shaped desks need clearance on both legs of the L
Häufige Fehler
- Buying a wide desk for a narrow room, chair can't pull out
- Wrong height, wrist strain over time

Standard desk depth?
60-80 cm. Less than 60 puts the monitor too close. More than 80 wastes floor space.
